Happy Friday all fellow FS warriors!

Yesterday was a tough workout with the trainer. We did core exercises, BOSU Birpees with a pushup, dumbbell planks, planks on a stability trainer while twisting it, 3 rounds. Then we moved on to running up the stairs, down the far side, back up and down and then slam the ball as hard as possible 10 times, for 10 reps. Then we did leg pull ins. Then he had me on all 4s pulling the ViPR tube alternating between right and left forward and then backward. We finished off with back extensions. I was exhausted but felt good.

Tuesday's workout focused on lower body. Uphill lunges, uphill sprints, one legged squats, BOSU squats, leg extensions, glute ham raises and pulling the ViPR tube. Boy were my legs sore.

Wednesday was an off day to recover from Tuesday.

Tonight I'm going running for an hour, 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back. I need to see how far I can run and figure I should be able to run for an hour. Most of my runs have been at 10-11 minute pace so I should be able to go at least 5 miles, at least that's my goal.

Argh...somehow your workout yesterday sounds a little like what we did! Bosu burpees, dumbbell planks, and medicine ball stuff. My gym incorporates the rowing machine and treadmill intervals within the weight work. I use the elliptical - running is not for me. I admire you can run! Good work!
