Ok does anyone know what the best way to keep weight off once you get to your goal? I have read that once you get within 15 labs of your goal to start adding carbs back into your diet slowly, is this the way to not gain weight back and in some cases plus more weight. I have yoyo dieted for most of my adult life and I don't want this to happen again, EVER.

I stayed below my RDI until I reached my goal weight last October. I kept walking and eating the same way and went six pounds below my goal weight. Then I added back two slices of high fiber bread each day. I still eat the same, so I can maintain my weight, but those two slices of toast with my breakfast are what I enjoy.

Hi, I heard that your new way of eating should be your new life style, your new forever foods, your new healthy way of eating, and should be the way that you-we should eat forever?.:) But I am not on Adkins, rather Low Carbs. I have taken the route that Ann suggests, attempting to craft and healthy way of eating as I go along, shedding bad habits and forming good ones for a future of good eating. It might be a little slower getting there, but I am hoping to make it easier to stay at my goal.
