What is awesome about fitness & diet restarts??? The week one water loss results! I stood on the scale last night and was down 5 lbs from last week's weigh in! Oh yeah, I really needed that emotional boost.

I did really well this week to control what I put in my mouth. There were several times that I craved a sweet treat and I'd blend a no calorie drink with ice to make a smoothie. I managed 6 days without any gluten or refined sugars, which I'd consider a detox. Last night I indulged on 2 pieces of pizza, but only after I finished a 3 mile run and was satisfied that I wouldn't blow my weekly calorie limits. Calculated = Good.

The BIG MISTAKE I made this week was not taking a multi-vitamin. OMG. I can't believe I stopped taking them! I was an emotional twit for days! My husband was besides himself, and finally sat me down last night to say "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I took a vitamin last night, and one again this morning... I can feel stability returning. Why are they so important to my emotional stability? I have no idea. I just know that when I have a multi-vitamin regime, I'm happier. It's like a happy pill for me. So... 46 more days until I leave for my trip (my math was wrong the last journal entry)... My goal is to be in the 160s. I can do it. I just have to WORK!
