In Dec 2008 I had ballooned up to 240 lbs after 2 years or eating anything I wanted, whenever I wanted. Stress also has played a role in that period as well, But that's life. Prior to that I was 180 trying to get to 165/175 from 220lbs, I started to celebrate too soon and did not watch what I ate. All the weight came back no fault of any diet (atkins) just did not watch what I ate. My fault

Then in Dec 2008 I went on the flat belly diet and lost 20 lbs in about 6 weeks and was down to 220lbs. But ate too much nuts and developed diverticulitis and really did not feel well after that.
Also was taking Acai berry at that time also.

Since about March 2008 I laid off diets and just wanted to feel better. Since then I have stayed around the same weight of 220/225.

Feeling better now and I am focusing on the Abs diet, by eating 6 times a day. I am not much for white/flour carbs and don't care for them. Enjoy protein from lots of chicken in different ways. Keeps me full and energetic. Add vegetables and diary to balance things out for a balanced diet. Some people I know have done very well on the Abs Diet and feel and look great.

Keeping a food journal helps a lot, as well as getting a lot of water and taking a multi vitamin daily. Add some walking and some strength exercises also.

Looking to lose 20 lbs by Aug 28th ( 6 weeks )
