Working out is going well. Just sat with a trainer who worked me out hard and set up a schedule. Hopefully that'll help as well as increasing my cardio a little bit everday. Want to be able to run a mile like its nothing...at least thats the goal. Hopefully i'll be able to run three miles at about a 9 min pace by August time. Been slacking on logging a bit but still eating healthy. I just forget to log it.

Martial Arts is going really well. Learning so much!! Kind of just wish we did some more conditioning but oh well. The classes are great regardless.

SOOOOOOOOO excited for ny pride this sunday! Just wish the gf could join -___- oh well i'm hoping it will be fun regardless. Time to show off the progress ;)

I've trained for several years in Kempo Karate, but recently I started taking Jiu Jitsu as well. I find that it is a really great conditioning/cardio workout just about every class

Getting a trainer was the best thing I've ever done. It's great to have someone who cheers on your successes and helps you through failures. My trainer is great at both! You will see amazing results and I know you can workup to a 5 K. I used to stay home from gym class when we ran the mile as kids and now I love running - you'll get there, it comes with time and doesn't happen overnight :D Have a great time at your parade - do you live in NY or NJ? I am from NJ!!!

@iclener2b - Kempo is awesome and i always wanted to try. I did a little jiu jitsu. I just get so frustrated with not being able to get the locks and all i want to do is punch. I know...anger issues. ahah. But yeah it really was a fantastic workout. @ Healthy_allie - NJ all the way baby! haha gotta love that jersey pride. But yeah i know i can and hell i have to if i wanna get my starting position back on rugby! My trainer is pretty cool. I can't like use him full time but i'm going to bother him if i need help. The schedule will help. Thanks allie! My only dilemma is will be what do i wear and will my gf be ok with me showing off my arms and abs lol!
