Time changes not only throw my sleeping schedule off but my eating one as well. This morning is harder than yesterday as late to bed.

My house still smells good after making a mushroom curry last night, those spices are amazing. No curry powder, individual spices cooked first in a bit of oil before adding anything else. All that flavor makes for a satisfying meal without many calories. Will have to get the recipe in the cookbook later today and see the result.. I know it's not high from the ingredients.

I need to make something today so I can have good smells. It's raining and dreary. Spring is coming, though. I can feel it! :)

It's weird I'm not a big fan of curry powder but love all kids of curries made with the actual individual spices. If I could send you some of this weather I would. 65 and sunny on my way home. I would leave out the pollen!! I checked the pollen levels yesterday as my neighbor was having some breathing problems. Down near zero. By the time I drove home I was so stuffed up I could hardly breathe, fine when I walked out the door at work. Checked the levels on a downtown local hospital site and the juniper was up to high and cedar not far behind. It said that the warm weather had caused the buds on many tress to burst today. Allergy meds are final kicking in. I made making a wrap with baba ganoush and avocado based on the nutri bullet instruction book. Yum! A bit of bacon would have been a nice touch. No clue on the calories yet will have to put it in the tracker and see, I know I was low for the day as lunch was about 250 calories so no worries.

I love saying baba ganoush. It cracks me up. I've never tried making curry with the individual spices. I should try that. I love the spice containers Indian brides get. They are so tidy.

I love how you eat. :) You are getting pollen already? WOW! Your springtime has arrived, I would say. Since the rain coming down has melted most of the snow, and still coming down ... we have standing water every place in the yard and gardens. Our dogs are tracking mud in constantly. I need to get straw and throw that around the deck out in our backyard. I used to get allergies all the time when I lived in a mountain valley here in VA. We are in higher elevations now, and I don't get the allergy thing quite as bad.
