Okay, trying to lower the carbs this week. I'm still high in carbs, but lower than before and I lost a pound. Hooray!! I know I won't be able to go too low, because I won't be able to stick with it if I do, but I'm going to try to see what changes I can make. I made a chicken recipe last night with no breading and thought my husband and kids would hate it, but they (after sticking their noses up at it) loved it. I'm so happy when I can find something they enjoy that doesn't kill my calorie/carb intake. Even though I had a really high carb day yesterday that's okay, I'm going to try to do well during the week and allow myself that one day not to worry about it (as much). Carbs are so hard because they are in everything I like. And my husband thinks I'm crazy because I want to cut at least a few carbs, his idea of diet is to only eat once or twice a day and eat junk during those times, so I'm not taking his advice. Anyway, long journal, but happy for the lost pound and I'm going to beat these carbs!!
