Today is day 28 of Atkins. I have lost 17pounds which is excellent, but I lost 15 of them the 1st 2 weeks of induction. Which is kind of discouraging that I have only lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks. yesterday was a really hard day. I craved sweets, milkshakes, chocolate thanks to my TOM. today has been better. I am going to try to start back walking this weekend. I am hoping to be under 200lbs by my birthday 6/29 so 7 more pounds to go :(. I can do this....I can do this....Ican do this

I know what you mean! I lost 8# during my first 2 weeks of induction and then went back up the third week! I'm closing in on the end of my 4th week and I'm almost back to where I was at 2 weeks. I wanted to be into the 150's by the end of June. We can do it together!

We can do it! I think the best thing for me to do is hide the scales, BUT i'm an ADDICT! The book says weeks 3-6 your weight loss will slow down. I'm going to stay with Atkins til the end of the summer no matter if my weight goes up or down. I have faith it will go down :)

I strongly suggest making it a point to log everything you're eating, every single day. That way, if your weight is not moving, you'll be able spot trends....and if it IS moving the way you'd like, you'll know what to keep doing! We all think we know what we're eating, but there's always a surprise or two if we actually log it.

I know I need to avoid alcohol for certain. Memorial day killed me. And then I was gaining weight and too upset to record the food in my diary. Wicked little cycle. I'm back on track now. And I totally agree Mrs. Adams... I'm staying on this diet through the summer. And my scale stares at me every single day. I went 1 week without weighing, and then couldn't take it. I like to know when my body is finally responding again.

those first couple of weeks are mostly water. Now you want to get down to losing fat. It's perfectly normal. You may lose 3 or 4 next week. Just keep going.

I have started back today tracking everything I eat, and I am going to try to keep it up til the end of the month Skippygirl1 Another thing that has killed me is I can't have any fruit on induction, and as hot as it is here in Alabama watermelon, grapes, and strawberries sounds wonderful. You will be in the 150s by the end of this month I have faith in you :)

I'm going on vacation on the 27th, so I am praying that I can continue to eat right and track my food. I'm the only one on this diet out of 15 people going. It is going to be TOUGH. I ate sliced cucumbers and a sliced tomato with my lunch today. They are nice cool vegetables on hot days (not that a tomato is technically a vegetable), since we can't have fruit.

You will do fine on vacation, plus if your in the 150s that will be extra motivation. I think it may get easier the longer we stay on it :)

Im going on vacation to June 27th. For the past 3 days my appetitie hase decrease and I'm trying to get my calories up.

I had the same problem the last couple of days. Here in Alabama, I think it's the heat. It's to hot to eat alot. Maybe your appetite will come back the next couple of days and you will get back on track. Overlook my misspelling my 2 yr old is helping me type :)
