First day at work today was really good. turned out I was working with someone I knew from my student union bar so that was cool, the work doesn't seem to hard we are in training at the moment so that could be why :P

Food went OK today although i am still no good at counting calories so i am not sure how much it was i tried to eat medium portions so that i didnt get hungry. my tummy did get a bit rumbly a bit

i ate beans on toast for breakfast
and then a cheese and pickle sandwich with 2 small slices of malt loaf and some apricots for lunch
and then for dinner i had a baked potato with cheese and beans.

not my best choices a bit too heavy and dairy today i think but ok for in a rush. i have decided i am not going to eat after 8 so if i get hungry i will placate myself with tea. i cant work out how many calories i have consumed today though.

in other news i am going to attend my first weight watchers meeting tomorrow i have decided it will be a good incentive to keep losing weight :)

also i am just about to get ready for my jog i was wondering if anyone could reccomend some good songs for my ipod. :) xxx

Hmmm... most people would rip off their headphones if they listened to the stuff I did. LOL I have a tendency to listen to metal, comedy, or video game soundtracks when I work out. I always listen to the song "Devils Never Cry" from the game Devil May Cry 3 before I run a race.

i wouldn't rip out the headphones if it was metal or comedy or video game music they all sound like good work out music especially metal actually im gna have to see what i have on mah itooooones i ended up jogging continuously for 4 songs each about 3 mins so for about 12mins which i am pretty damn proud of they were all ska because i need something a bit bouncy when i jog :P i seem to have hurt my shoulder though its suddenly got really sore when i move it :(

I was a teenager in the 1980's, so I tend to pick more of that music for my workouts. Some really good songs to get you going are: "Kick-Start my Heart" by Motley Crue, "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses, and "Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row. Also, Van Halen is another good group to exercise to! (Can you tell I'm a huge fan of 1980's "hair" bands?!) lol

Haha. I listen to everything. But a majority of it is rock/metal. I am obsessed with Coheed and Cambria, a lot of their songs are very driving and around the same tempo, but they're longer than most songs.

Your journal stuck out to me 'cause I have also been searching for good work-out music! When I'm not working out, I prefer indie, punk, and rock (also LOVE Coheed), but I've been listening to some Black Eyed Peas (Pump It and Boom Boom Pow), Rhianna (SOS and Pon de Replay), and Fall Out Boy when I work out. I don't normally like the Top 40 stuff, but it gets me moving in the gym!
