I think I am slowly becoming more fat adapted..

This morning I had the same breakfast as I have 90% of all my mornings: 3-4 Organic eggs, 3 slices of organic uncured bacon. Sometimes I have a small amount of berries, sometimes I don't.
I had iced coffee with cream only. I noticed I wasn't hungry for lunch until 3:00pm! Even then there wasn't any big hunger pang. It was small. I did have a small plum around 12. But before I got strict on my diet. I would HAVE to have a snack between Morning and Lunch. I would be real hungry by 12.
Anyone doing low carb think this is slow fat adaption? I am trying to figure out how I can tell if I am more fat adapted.

Well your daily intake is up and down which is good. try switching up what your eating. Otherwise your body is going to start adjusting to your diet and you will either 1. gain, or 2. plateau in your weight loss.

I am 10ish days into a low carb high fat and I am not hungry at all. I used to eat every 4 hours like clockwork. I need to get into a groove with what I am regularly going to eat, I am still trying to work out whats best for me that doesnt upset my tummy.

i have been doing this lchf and I am not that hungry. But I do make myself eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. No snacks because I don't feel like them. I mix up my meals though. I eat 2 eggs done all different ways, either omlets, fried, poached, scrambled, with cheese, spinach, tomato etc. Sometimes I make the cream cheese pancakes, (love these) and about 3 -4 times a week a couple pieces of bacon. Small lunch, and nice dinner.

What I learned is that the fat truly satiates me and I am almost never hungry - I can go for three or four hours easily and then remind myself to have lunch.

Thanks for all the comments! I agree fat fills me up as well. WHen I started to workout in the mornings last Saturday- I did a workout fasted/empty stomach. Then I had bullet proof coffee (coffee/1/2 tbsp. butter/1/2 tbsp. coconut oil) It killed my hunger pang immediately! I was amazed how fat can do that. I still ate a normal breakfast though. I am started to see I do not need to snack too. Sometime I am not really hungry for dinner since I eat my lunch late now. I still eat a little something cause I am afraid if I do not get enough protein my body could use my muscles instead of the fat? I don't know how true this is and the fat/muscle information gets confusing to me but I rather be safe than sorry.
