Day three. Stepped on the scale out of curiosity this morning, and my weight hasn't budged at all. A little surprised...thought I would have at least lost a little water weight in the first couple of days, but whatever. Will wait until my first weigh in on Monday before I make any adjustments. So far I'm hanging around 1500 calories per day, even though the goal I set was 1800. I'm comfortable so far...not really having a problem with hunger, more of a problem with stopping myself from eating out of habit or boredom. Don't think I had enough water yesterday, which may be playing a role in my slow start, so today I will put more emphasis on that. I have broiled chicken tenders marinated in a small amount of caesar dressing on my menu for dinner, which are delicious and I estimate to be about 300 calories for three strips...wish I had bought the "lite" caesar, but will make do with what I have and make sure I get the lite next time. Think the calorie estimate may be a bit high, since much of the dressing will be left behind in the bowl when the tenders are actually cooked. Will pair the chicken with some low cal veggies of some sort.
