mars2kids's Journal, 11 February 2015

Well, I made it through the day yesterday without binging on chocolate or ripping anyone's head off, so I call that a win. My hubby gave me a little box of chocolates that has 3 chocolates in it on Monday, so I did eat one of them last night and it was delicious. I think knowing I was going to allow myself that one chocolate and I wasn't going to eat all 3 at once just made me savor it even more.

I got a workout in last night too. It wasn't a horribly hard workout, but at least I was off my butt and not vegging on the couch. I'm going to try to get a workout in every evening that we aren't busy. When my hubby isn't home I can do them in front of the TV, which is a bonus for me. :)

I've only had a couple of days so far that I've really been trying hard to clean up my eating and not allowing myself a bunch of chocolate or other junk and I already can tell the difference. Maybe it's all in my head, but I feel better mentally and physically, I'm not as tired for sure, so I'll take that as a win, even if it is in my head.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!
