Well, I start my two challenges today, Lose 30 by Labor Day, and Drop the extra belly fat in 4 weeks...Wow! This should be interesting. ;) I don't have any buddies yet, seeing that I just signed in yesterday. However, I'm looking forward to reading everyone's success and not so successful stories. Just being a part of this site is a success in itself. It's saying "yes" to becoming a better you. I'm about 50 pounds overweight and stand 5'1". So, as you can imagine, my preportions don't fit my frame. I could probably stand to lose more than 50, according to the "charts", but I think 50 is a realistic place to start. So, here goes! Good luck to you all. See you at the finish line!

RB, just sent you a buddy request. Welcome to FS. I am about 5'2 1/2" and have been at this since January 2010. I started at 258 pounds, and so far have lost a little over 70 pounds. I think you are right about the 50 pounds. Get there and see how you feel...if you still want to lose more, then go for it. Feeling healthy is not about a number on the scale! Have a great day!
