Crappy eating yesterday...I didn't stray from my diet, but I didn't eat any veggies at all. I've been having some tough days (emotionally, due to personal matters), and it's hard to get motivated when dealing with it. I stayed strong and resisted the urge to eat anything not approved for induction, but did eat a lot of sugar free sweets... I would rather indulge in something I can have instead turning back to a bag of chips or bread. I think that's a good thing... Now if I can just get those veggies in today I'll be doing a lot better : )

Thanks, Glen, I needed that! And yes, it would be wonderful if we could occasionally pause life and focus on ourselves every once in a while... May sound selfish to others, but it's definitely not. How are we to take care of others if we don't take care of ourselves first? I'm usually the last one I take care of, but I'm beginning to learn that's it's actually ok to do things for myself... It's not selfish, it necessary :) Hope you have a great day too!!

I vote YES for the pause button!!! Great job sticking to your plan - especially during emotional times.

I'm not a vegetable eater at all.In fact the only way I can tolerate them is in a soup.A few years back I lost a lot of weight eating low carb and I didn't have any veggies at all.I got my carbs most days from a 1/2 cup of oatmeal every morning.I know that's not allowed on induction but it worked for me.So as long as you didn't stray from your diet and you didn't eat beyond your limit of carbs you should be fine.

I agree with everyone else, it couldn't be a crappy day eating if you stuck to your plan. You should be proud of yourself especially after getting through a rough day without faltering.
