Eating in a group is hard when you are first geting started. I tried to avoid it as much as possible. Once you have some time under your belt it does get easier. When I have to eat out in group situations I still try to stick with some kinds of chicken or steak salad, very satisfying and filling. But it does get easier, I promise. You can do it! Stick with it and good luck!
