Since this round of Fatsecret started at 229 lbs. rather than my high weight of 242, today is my over-half-weigh (See what i did there?) point. I'm always prepared for it to bounce back up and then slowly ratchet back to this point over a few days, but for now, i'm here.
My doctor's appointment is next tuesday (after armageddon, so maybe it doesn't matter. Tell you what, if the rapture happens, i'm going to eat some of kris' stash of easter candy.)
uh, anyway
so my doctor's appointment is tuesday, and I really want to be around 192-193, because her scale is usually about 6 lbs heavier than mine, and I'd like to be under 200 by her reckoning. (they have me starting at 236.)
i'm nervous because she'll probably change my diet. Maybe i'll be allowed more calories, or maybe she'll be disappointed at my very low carb levels, or... i dunno. maybe she'll think i've lost weight too fast and that i've done something wrong.
what i'm doing now is working for me, and having found out what works, i'm scared to be told to try something else. Of course, i'm not sure I can continue on 800 kcal a day, so maybe boosting it to 1,000 or 1,200 isn't a bad idea, and I can throw in a bit of cardio, now that work doesn't totally drain me. (totally true. I used to be exhausted coming home from work, but now i can actually visualize putting in extra gym-time, and it sounds like fun.)
there's no point in worrying about it before hand, i know. I just... do. bleah.
