Good morning, all! Frigid morning here, -7 degrees Fahrenheit when I put the kids on the bus. Did a little grocery shopping, then back home for breakfast.
I thought about heading to the gym but it was so damn cold lol. I will go tomorrow. Can't wait for some of my clothes to fit comfortable again, and for my pants to get baggy as they once were. It's funny how in denial I was the entire time they were getting more snug. But I'm not buying bigger clothes, I'll just have to shrink back into them.
A friend of mine on here brought up a 'before' picture, which has inspired me to dig out some of mine. We all need a reminder from time to time of where we came from and why we're doing this. Maybe I should print one and keep it on me at all times lol. So anywho, I started going through my photo diary. Every time I hit a new decade of numbers I snapped a pic. April of 2014 I was at 189, and I think that was a damn good look. Of course I didn't realize it then lol, you never do! But maybe now after having put some back on I will be able to appreciate it more when I get there, rather than constantly focusing on how far I have to go. And hopefully I'll be close to the same numbers again come april of this year.
I need to be working on math and pharmacology again today. Weighing and measuring my food has given me one hell of a head start in math. I already know the majority of the conversions by heart. Can't complain about that.
Here's to another good day :)

I remember reading somewhere the phrase "I wish I was as fat now as I thought I was back then." It still makes me laugh but it's also a good comment on perspective.
Man, spring can't come soon enough. Bitter cold isn't just a good excuse to stay in some days, it's more like strong-arm persuasion.
In the meantime, just hold on to that inspiration that made you start losing. You got this. :)

You will be where you want to be in no time. You have done that before. I look forward to seeing some more of your "before" and "now" pictures.

Funny how we never know what we have until we don't have it... hmmm human nature... As you, I refuse to buy larger clothes, I was in denial too, put on 10 pounds. This doesn't sound like much, but I took the measuring tape out and found it was a whole 2 inches all over my body - no wonder the clothes were tight lol! Nice for both of us that we are on the downward slide once again! Good luck to both of us! Have a wonderful day.
