Weight remains unchanged... my brain power has felt lacking over the last few days and with my cpa exam coming up next Wednesday I've decided to up my carb in take to HEALTH carbs only, keeping my carbs below 150g until after my exam. I'm not sure if Atkins is right for me because I feel like it is really affecting my power to think.. and since carbs are the only food that your brain can use for energy, I'm linking these two things together. I don't expect to gain back the weight I have already lost, in fact I expect to continue losing weight as I enter more vigorous exercising into the daily regimen.
150.6 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 20.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think you may have Atkins backwards. The induction phase if that's what you are on currently allows no more than 20 g of carbs a day, most of which is from veggies low on the glicemic index. Looking at your food intake, I would be afraid that you are not only not eating enough fat to fuel your body via keotonic metabolism, not to mention your carbs are wayyyy to high to even let your body go into ketonics, but your calories are pretty low if that is your average intake. You MUST eat on ANY diet, otherwise your body will enter starvation mode and will almost shut down your metabolism making it insanely difficult to lose anything at all. As for the comment about carbs being the only brain fuel, that is false. Your brain will function just fine using your stored energy. I know personnally, my first 2 days on Atkins were hell, but on about the 3rd day or so I actually felt amazing, I could concentrate much better, had more energy, etc. I was very skeptical about this diet myself, but when you can, just stick to it. And I highly recommend reading the ENTIRE Atkins new diet revolution book. It helps to breakdown what the diet actually does. Don't lose hope, and best of luck to you on exams.:-)

Carb cycling maybe? It could be an option if you think that this is effecting your thought processes. If you do go off you will probably put some of the weight back on initially, since most of what came off was water weight. I actually think your net carbs look fine but I would agree that the cals are a little low most days.
