I walked 6.5 miles today and made the second half a work-out by carrying 30 pounds of groceries home from the store. I did it though and didn't even get too tired. I'm feeling so much stronger.

I had only my morning shake before leaving and just got back so today ends up being a bit of a low cal day.

am shake... raspberries, coconut milk, coconut oil, yogurt, walnuts, kale.
pm shake... banana, yogurt, coconut milk, chai seeds, coconut oil, walnuts and peanut butter... (this one isdefinitely a do over. yummy!)
I'm loving my Vita mix! And the saying, If it ain't broke, don't fix it! seems to apply to my diet these days. I couldn't feel better.

Well, the food was in my backpack so it wasn't that awkward carrying problem. But I wanted to tell you, we went to the movies tonight and since I had some calories left I had popcorn (w/o butter) but my foot was a bit sore and I started to wonder if I might be pushing it to do the half marathon this year. I thought it was so much better. Maybe the extra weight of the groceries was too much. I'll let you know how it feels tomorrow. It may just be par for the course. I did even amaze Bill with the weight of the groceries. Hee.

Foot seems better this morning. I think it was a bit extreme with the weight yesterday, that's all. Very relieved.
