mugs4349's Journal, 03 June 2009

Hello everyone! My name is Kate and this is my first day on here. I have been doing Weight Watchers for a little over 2 years (I fluctuate between 40 and 50 lbs lost) but have been very stagnant for the past year. So, I'm trying this out to see where I'm going wrong. If anyone wants to add in any helpful tips and maybe see where I'm going wrong, please feel free to message me!
Apparently I eat too many calories, definitely way too many carbs (which I already knew) and too much sodium. I eat a lot of fiber because that's what WW encourages because it's more filling but not always better!
I love to exercise. I meet with my trainer once a month and he has come up with a cross-training regiment that I was really gung-ho about for about 2 weeks. I had set a goal to lose 12lbs in 6 weeks, hence the new regiment but I didn't hit the goal, in fact I think I gained weight. I am in 2 weddings this year and one next year, and I would love to look even better than I do now and lose those 12 lbs that I set for myself. The first wedding is in 2 months, and the other is on Halloween! HELP!

Fiber is a great thing. It helps fill you up and helps fight off many types of cancer. But it can also cuase people digestive dietress, lol! Maybe go back to the beginning and reread all your info. Then retake the test. Get in your dairy, enough protein and your fruits and veggies. Drink your water. Eat half your flex points and see what happens. If you don't lose, cut half of those half flex and see what happens. Keep your portions in check and watch out for those bites, licks and tastes, You have done really great with your weight loss. You can do it.
