xohhjeez's Journal, 10 November 2014

Still at a nasty plateau, but have really been thinking more and more about doing more intense monitoring of my food intake. Definitely have been thinking more and more about having a strict diet schedule and sticking to it, and doing some meal planning as well. I have this idea to really focus on doing those mason jar salads throughout the week, and just make a few on maybe Sunday or Monday, and then that way they are all prepped and I can just go ahead and eat them during the week. Usually for lunch, I eat lean cuisines, which are ridiculously processed, and I know they are. But I just don't have time in the morning to make lunches every day. Maybe if I get into the habit of meal prepping, I wont stray as much as I have been. And honestly, its at the point where I love salads anyways, and I can make different salads and stuff, and maybe put some chicken or other proteins in with them to mix it up. I think it should definitely work out well.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I think I have to steal your salad idea. I'm a lean cuisine girl too for the same reason. Maybe by prepping salads on a sunday night I will make them more interesting instead of just throwing salad mix in a tuperware container. :)

Unfortunately I dont know how to post pictures directly to journal entries because I am technologically challenged, but here is a link to the picture I posted of my finished product. It looks awesome so far, and I only made four to last me the end of the week, and I'm hoping they stay relatively fresh. I've read a lot about them though and apparently they stay good for pretty long. I will definitely update at the end of the week! http://instagram.com/p/vPde0Fj3tC/?modal=true

For some reason, the link was cut off, so there is the full link, you would just need to remove the space!
