FBS this a.m. was 97, 1 hour after breakfast (oat groats) 108---purrrrrfect!

Slept well as far as I can tell, woke up once at a little after midnight, forget why now, but went right back to sleep...then slept til 8 a.m. and woke up feeling refreshed...ate the oat gorats and am still feeling satisfied at nearly noon, and was getting HUNGRY with the rolled oats by now.

Put on a pot of stew (big pot, too big actually so didn't put taters in it and will freeze at least half of it if we don't have company this weekend to help eat it up. Cooked corn bread (one for me and one for david) and put in some of the Jalapeno bread in the bread machine....to bake too...just for something different.

Have hamburger thawed too but will need to cook it and refreeze---I'm out of cheese so will use it for some mexican corn bread when I get some cheese (for david's pan)

It is noon and no detectable edema in either shin and I feel pretty energetic so I think I must be sleeping better at least the quality of sleep.

Not sore from yesterday's physical work either, so that is good.... Have to quit my ASA on Sunday as I have an upper GI scheduled for Friday....checked on garden plants and the little tomato plants I put out and perky and green poking up from the straw mulch. I hope I can raise enough tomatoes to use to cut the huge cans of salted canned tomatoes in order to make LOWER sodium salsa....
