A small excerpt from today's eavesdropped convo at the gym. Not really eavesdropping-couldn't avoid it really as these two "men" were standing on either side of the machine I was on and talking over my head. It went on and on-I think they said the F and S words hundreds of times. I think I am getting old-I winced at the language-like a little old librarian lady-on offense to librarians-my sister is a librarian.
In spite of my discomfort, I worked out for an hr-20 mins each again on abs, arms and legs. Walked to the gym and back. I am so allergic to the gym, I have started to disinfect every piece of eqt. Can't help myself. I am afraid of the flesh eating bacteria. Don't laugh but I know someone-only 30 yrs old who died after she was infected.
Speaking of bacteria, tonight tonight am taking the beast to "U Wash Doggie" for a complete wash, cut and blow so we can bear to be stuck in the car with him for 6 hours.
Gotta run-hope all is well with everyone. :)

Yeah! Play the lady card, ask them if they kiss their mother w/ that mouth! lol Then again they might throw a weight at you -eek. Idk, thats horrible, I don't stay very quiet when things like that come up. I feel you should say somehting too, but I guess you'll be gone for sometime so try when you come back. 6 HOURS NORTH?? wow, you really are going north! Do YOU have to wash doggie or they do it?

I wash the doggie-he has been thrown out by too many groomers. Even with me he has to wear the muzzle when I get close to the naughty bits. I am dreading it! It's exhausting. I'd rather wash both cars than that bloody dog-whom I love with all my heart and soul like I gave birth to him-eww gross.

GREAT job in the gym, Girl! Too bad you have to put up with the crappie talk though. And I don't blame you for being extra careful with gym cleanliness too. Keep up the good work! Wear earplugs next time you go to the gym. :) Good luck with the Beast wash! (((HUGS)))

2 hrs at the doggie wash-exhausting but he was so clean and barely smelly-can never get all the smell out of him :( This morning he jumped in the pool and ruined everything. I should wear earplugs or bring my ipod but always forget. And my battery likes to cut out in the middle of a cardio workout-it's like losing gas on the freeway.
I am bringing comp with me so be prepared for more mindless musing over the weekend. I may be a little tipsy too. Ha!
