I think that my old tried and true tricks are really helping. Recently I found an agreement my fiance and I drafted after he binged on junk food. It basically stated that after that binge he promised not to bring potato chips in the apartment (my weakness). He can eat them anywhere else he wants but not our mutual dwelling. This has helped a lot because when we are in the grocery store and he tries to weasel his way I remind him of the agreement and he backs off. Keeping things in writing has really helped because it allows him to see in black and white that he did promise me something.

With no temptations in the house I have not been eating after 9 pm. Even though my fiance whines when he has to eat at midnight by himself I remind him that he shouldn't try to manipulate me into eating just so he can feel good. Overall taking back control of my eating schedule has been so rewarding. When my FI gets upset that I made myself some vegetables for breakfast at 9 am when he gets up at 11 am I tell him to shut it and make himself some food. I am tired of having to wait for him to wake up so I can eat breakfast. From now on I eat on my schedule and he can eat on his as long as he does not expect me to make his meals too.

So as a recap:

I eat veggies for breakfast with some protein.
I eat every 4 hours
I can eat french fries as long as I exercise and account for the large calorie load.

Yay progress :)
