One Wing's Journal, 17 September 2014

Slept in too late... knew it, but kept rolling over and going back to sleep... Really trying to get rid of the dark clouds... Strange to seemingly want something, have the intense conversations with yourself, but not have enough... the oomph... to just do it.

Got back on my mat once I finally got up. Trying to make a point of it even if it's just for a short time. My plan is to offer beginner yoga classes again next month to some friends who keep asking me. I'm not sure why they ask me for classes when they can see that I'm clearly not fit right now... Maybe they are just trying to push me back to health and happiness. I most definitely need to brush up my teaching so I will be ready for them. Meanwhile, admittedly, the pressure is good to get me back into the groove of my own daily practice.

Went to a nearby gym this morning with my eldest son... I am taking advantage of a 14 day free pass. We'll see, I loathe gyms. I'm definitely more of a hiker, walker, yogi girl... I haven't done much walking/hiking since my dog and best friend died the end of last month. I'm trying to move past that. She was a huge part of my life, my constant and doting companion. I miss her dearly... her name was Sister.

My diet wasn't great today but it wasn't horrible either. Planning to eat my rainbow for dinner. I always try to get a rainbow in each day.

I think my husband might begrudgingly join me at the gym this evening for moral support...

Looking Forward... Trying to find my light again.
