M.H.'s Journal, 15 September 2014

Okay, so I completely fell off the wagon, for at least three weeks I think. The stress of refinancing our home and then the refinance being delayed because of a miss on paperwork on the bank end sucked! Then there's winter coming and we needed to replace a window this past weekend which went great and now we have to work all week to get the drywall up. I've had high blood pressure as of last week and now I have to go for my follow up today to be sure its not my BCPs as that would mean they'd want to put me on something else though I'm sure its my weight and stress level. So I guess I'll see today and find out if its high again. I really do need to get back to controlling my snacking though as I've let it get out of control for the most part. I also need to get back to my Pilates machine more strictly as I have been slacking. I'd been on it only on the occasional time. So stressed! I'll try to breath now before my appointment. Fingers crossed for now.

I totally hear ya on the stresses of going through a refinance. We just purchased our home in April and went through a super hectic process for that, then we immediately went in and refinanced that loan in the past month. So my past six months were just filled with finding, scanning and emailing papers. The stress also got to me and I ate way more than usual and put exercise on the back burner. How that it's all over, I'm excited about getting back to taking care of me. Hope you can do the same now, too, M.H.

I think we are almost done our refinance just waiting for the funds to actually go through. it was odd we kinda fell through the cracks for a month and it could have been longer if I wasn't so demanding. I finally found out they had missed some paper work and it was put on hold until it was done then we found out when we went to sign the mortgage papers that it might not have needed to be!! grr. but now it's down and soon we'll getting things sorted away. Thank goodness. To think I could be going through something like this again in a year or so if we do manage to sell and move;( but we'll see.
