So the other day my bf was so cute. I go over to his place and he tells me that he has made a "healthy" dinner. I keep asking him to tell me what it is, but he won't tell me, but that I should trust him that it's healthy. Now I wasn't too sure what he thought the word "healthy" meant. He is just coming off of eating fast food all the time, so I don't know if his definition of healthy matches mine.
So the food was ok, it was chicken made in a cream of mushroom sauce with mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. His idea of healthy was that the sauce was "reduced fat/sodium", the potatoes had fat free cheese in it, and he only cooked with reduced fat items. He then had a "healthy dessert" that consisted of strawberries and dairy queen soft serve.
So I was happy that he is making some changes. I hate to burst his bubble that just b/c something says "fat free" or "reduced sodium" or "sugar free" doesn't mean that it's healthy. But he'll get it sooner or later.
