I'm apparently in bottomless pit mode again. Drinking coffee in hopes of sating myself a little, and I indulged myself with 2 Peanut M&M's (a total of 21 calories for such little things.) If not, I'll see if the granola in my drawer will help. Feeling hungry brings back PTSD reactions for me, which in turn feeds the desire for comfort eating. My friend and I ordered chinese for lunch, and I tried to find the best approximation in the database I could. I at least am noticing still when I am full versus wanting to continue to eat for the flavor. in the past I would have polished off far more of my lunch than I did. With what I have left, it looks as if I will have lunch the next couple of days. I probably also need to look at my sodium intake. (Because Chinese food is so great for that,) and make sure I'm not eating things which will make me retain water.

In the meantime, I'm trying not to let an incessantly negative person at work get to me, I'm covering for folks who are out, and feeling like I'm not getting my own job done. Personally I had an attempted guilt-trip from my grandmother for not calling often enough, because I emailed this morning, to make sure everyone was all right after an earthquake in their area. I politely told her the phone works both ways and I'd love to hear from her too. I think she's lost touch with how busy being a mom is to begin with, let alone adding a full time job, and the challenge of trying to keep myself and the kiddos active on top of it. Oh and a still somewhat new (although very relaxed) marriage.

It's gotta be PMS, 'cause I just want everyone to leave me alone for a while.
