Does anyone else have this problem? That if you "fall" off the wagon- the next day you had gained over 3 lbs? This happens to me, but not to my wife.. I "fell" off the horse on Saturday night, sort of speaking, and the following day I gained, I think over four pounds.. it will take several days to get back where I was.. just frustrating, that I have to be that careful of what I eat..

It happens to me if I go off, particularly with a higher carb level and that's where I usually steer to when I jump the wagon or sneak in cheat foods. I've heard that for every gram of glycogen your body is carrying it also holds 4 grams of water with it. The good thing is it's a short term gain and comes off quickly, as of this morning I was almost down to my Friday weight, which was just prior to my foolish Friday night binge. I find limiting calories under RDI for a couple days and drinking lots of water gets the extra weight right back off. Working up a sweat helps too.

It's not a problem - it's a UNIVERSAL phenomena called "water weight" or "bloating"....usually occurring on weekends :)
