My Carbs are much better today although still above my goal of 100 grams per day. I am feeling satisfied with my meal plan, although I think I still need to add non-starchy vegies.

Aqua yesterday was a challenge, I really got my heart rate up and was breathing hard during class--which is the goal. Today is Pilates for an hour after having last week off due $$ issues. I am looking forward to a challenging class and am glad that I have gotten to the gym to get 2 good workouts in this week so far. I learned that the gym is conducting a new class called "Fit Over 40" (I qualify) it is free and they work on balance, fitness and oreintation to the strength training equiptment. It meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1100. I am going to try to attend on Friday after work on Thursday night.

Work is going well tonight so far. I need to get 90 CEU's in by next October so last night I printed off a bunch of articles to read and then later pay to take the test for the CEU's assigned to each article. This will only give me about 65 CEU's so I will have to look for other opportunities. I took the articles from nursingcenter.com under the CEsaver section. It will only cost me about $35 for all 65 CEU's which is a great deal. I was to hear today if I got the increase in my FTE from 0.8 to 0.9 (one extra day a payperiod)but my manager did not let me know. Hopefully I will learn Thurday that I got the increase, I need the $$$.

Sleep has been ok. I wake up sometimes to use the restroom, but can usually go back to sleep afterwards. However when my alarms goes off at 9pm I don't want to get up. My goal is to be in bed by noon when I have to work and I find that it takes me about an hour to get to sleep ater exercising in the morning. But I just don't think I will get up earlier in the evening to do evening work outs. It is just a work in progress to see what works best for me.
