Journaling is definitely a must while I take this adventure on weight loss. It is much easier to stay on track and I do not nibble as much knowing I have to write it down.
212.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 50.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.3 lb a week

Way to go! Keep up the logging and once you do that, you will find that you eat so much less and you will be so proud of yourself having a good food day. It's something tangible you can SEE and point at and say, "Hey, look, I did great today!!"

Yes I agree Catn52, writing everything down does help you keep on track...and it reminds you if or not you have had your RDI for the day...and not to over do it. The only thing I find hard is that sometimes what you eat or make is not registered in the list of foods you post..that can be very frustrating as you do not get an accurate account of what you ate...Keep focused and you will do fine.
