Had a very interesting doctor's 3:30pm appointment today.. Dr. Silveus came into the room, with his handy tablet.. first was his cordial greetings.. then down to business.. He opened my case file and saw my weight. He said.. “Wait is that true? It can't be!” Then he did a double take and I told him yes it was.. (According the visit I lost 48 lbs-- not over 50 BUT remember it was late afternoon!)
He then said.. “Roger you made my day!” I never heard that from a doctor before!
I told him that I felt like I was at a standstill with my weight loss- for the last several days (19?) I have been hovering around the same weight.. a pound or two..and I was kind of discouraged. He said..don't be! keep going.. in which I responded that I will.
He then went into the blood work, I swear his mouth dropped open!
Hemoglobin.. on 4/14 at 5.9% , today 5.1% target <5.7

He told me that he was very impressed with my numbers (he shook my hands) and said well done, and I did this without any extra medicines...
So I had a very good doctor's visit.. needed it!
Will be going back in three months for another blood work, to check my Vit D levels.. and well everything else as well...

Forgot.. the official weight loss my doctor wants to see.. is 250.. MAYBE 225.. He said 200 would be unhealthy for me!

What a great dr. visit, way to go. I know you've been frustrated with lack of movement on the scale, I hope you really feel a sense of accomplishment from this.

Yes, I have been diagnosed as Rapid Bi polar.. where my cycles can come in days or even hours.. No, I have not been in the suicidal dark depths for years now (When my wife and I was going thru a divorce- I was there.. scary place <by the way after four years of being divorced- and my wife asking for forgiveness.. we got back together- been married for over 10 years now>)

A lot of forgiveness on both of our parts... took place... I was "more" guilty than she was in our divorce.. shameful period of my life (no cheating was involved)...
