Feeling very sad and depressed today. Been off plan now for a week - guilt is weighting very heavily on me today. I know what I should do...but don't...and why not?? If feel so bad when I eat this way - but yet I let the emotional roller coaster take over. I NEED AN "OFF" BUTTON ON MY BRAIN!!

So much stress in my life right now...so I turn to FOOD

BUT I'm going to make a plan...
Take baby steps....
Stop all the in between snacking..
THINK before I eat...
When I eat...ask myself why? It is out of emotional stress or am I truly hungry
Starting now!! Then once the stress of next week is over...
I will start a better eating plan

I can't change what is in the past
I can only change the present...
So just get over it...and move on!!

NOW IF I CAN ONLY BELIEVE IN MYSELF ENOUGH
TO FOLLOW THIS PLAN...
I WILL SUCCEED

It's ok :) We all go through it. I've been trying to re-do Induction since Sunday but each of the last three days has been progressively worse. Tomorrow I will try again. Just give the plan your best shot each day and you will eventually succeed at it.

Hi new buddy! Sorry you're kinda roughin' it right now. I don't really know your background or anything but the first question that comes to mind is why did you choose Atkins? Not saying it's the wrong choice for you or anything, but it's not a plan that accomodates being off & on. You'll have to have an honest conversation with yourself about whether you can really stick to a low carb program like this, because if you don't, you will find it harder & harder to lose weight, & may even gain. Decide what you're going to do & don't let your emotions dictate your decision. You know what you need to do. So come up with your plan to do it. Plan out your meals & create an exercise schedule. Put it into your calendar. Do you work or go to school? How do you manage to get those things done if you're not in the mood to do them? Your emotions & your weight loss are entirely separate things. Don't let one depend on the other, & if you have a plan, they won't. And one more thing...start NOW, not next week! Sorry but that is one thing I see around here a lot with newbies & it really irks me. Why start next week, so you can get fat for 7 more days & create more work for yourself? Or so you can give yourself time to find more excuses for why you can't or shouldn't make this a top priority? Do it, woman!!!
