Doing OK, yesterday visited my dad's brother at a nursing home in town who is very ill with cancer and staph infections that are resistant to antibiotics. I visited with my dad's twin sister. It doesn't look good. I got to say goodbye anyway, this uncle always has been nice to me never treated me badly and always has been fun to be around. He's going to the V.A. tomorrow in CT but it looks very grim as the infections are so bad and he has had the cancer since October and he's been sick and they've been unable to treat it due to the infections. Oh, well. On the moving front --- to AZ looks less likely unless I get published. I may move to another place in town if they let me take Toto. I know I can't let anyone else adopt her she has mood issues and she finally minds me now. And she is so smart! Shaking her body means "Go outside", "Food", "Treat", and "yes"... I've figured that out from having her two months now. She is very intelligent a little genius but don't cross her! She clawed me when I blew food breath at her and gave her none. One claw only and deep...She knows how to pat for attention and claw more lightly if it's urgent. I don't know what words Dave taught her before he died but she knows: "Hot dog", "Good Girl", "Bad Girl", "Go lay down" especially that if she is harrassing me, "Treat", and her favorite is "go outside". Anyway, I'm hoping she can go if I do move... Have a good day everyone...diet easy to follow occasionally having a large fruit drink concentrated that is full - like 8 servings of fruit once a week or so, but am taking potassium supplements too and many others with a MDs approval...P.S. Toto does know "No" of course -- and "Run", and I'm sure some other words I can't think of right now!
