It has almost been 14 months since I started the life style change journey. I am so surprised that I waited so long to finally get myself on track. I am also surprised by how easy it has been.

I am not dieting, I am being sensible about my calories, choosing healthy foods, no processed foods and NO FAST FOOD. I have never been much of a fast food junky, an occasional McDonalds burger and fries, a rare Blizzard so giving up fast food was not hard.

Some things that are occasionally calling my name, apple fritters, pizza, baked spaghetti. I know I can still have these things in rare moderation BUT I choose not to.

I feel so much better about myself and feel so much better physically, even getting up this morning in the cold and going to the gym at 4:30 was easy. Woke up before my alarma and hopped out of bed.

Life is good!
