Well, found out last night that I am "sleep eating" and not remembering it....that accounts for the higher than I expected blood sugars and the not losing weight....apparently mostly I'm eating almonds---I got up last night and opened a bag, poured them into the container I usually keep them in, Son's friend who was sleeping over on the couch saw me. I woke up this morning with a mouth full of almond crumbs and no memory of it at all. I went back and put my sleep apnea machine mask on and everything, but have no memory of opening the bag of almonds or eating any. Found the bag in the trash and there are about a cup of almonds "missing." THAT's a LOT OF CALORIES TOO! Hummmmmm.

Well, anyway, no edema this morning and other than my wandering, slept fairly well I think. So I am going to "jump start" my diet again by keeping calories low for today. Made a "diet shake" out of 2 cups of skim milk, some 15 calories worth of artifically sweetened choc syrup and about 30 calories of malt powder and a cup or so Of Ice blended into a shake in the blender both for lunch and breakfast this morning.

Will have a "good meal" for supper. David is gone so don't have to worry about cooking for him. Think I will make some chili too for tomorrow or the next day...I'm going to cut back a bit on the carbs and try to keep from over doing the almonds and see how that works. The other morning I was 176 blood sugar 1 hour after the oatmeal for breakfast, so will cut the oatmeal back to a smaller portion. The 2 eggs worked okay yesterday to hold me and I didn't get hungry during the day and didn't even eat lunch until 2:30 which was good "holding power" for the ggs, but high in cholesterol...especially i imagine the duck eggs with yolks 2 x bigger than chicken eggs.

Didn't do the blood sugar this morning but will later.
Wt. 192 with sweats on this morning.
