After loosing 3 stone after having my last child, I have ground to a halt with my weight loss and have resorted to gimmicks like the 5:2 diet, 8 hour diet etc...I have come to to the conclusion that I am just being lazy and looking for an easy way out. I have decided to create my own diet plan with the foods I would normally purchase because I can't afford to buy "diet foods". I plan to start on the 22nd April, when my children return to school and when normality has returned to my life!! I am determined to loose the weight for the last time, get over my biscuit addiction and try to control myself and my mother-in-laws on a Sunday and only have one dessert!
142.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 23.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I did the same after my kids and was always saying "Y am I not losing weight? Im trying so hard!" But I really was not trying, i thought I was.. writing our food down really helps because we cannot lie!! We would only be lying to ourselves right lol this place I feel will lhelp! And other members help so much!!! I wish you YOUR BEST!!

Real food and exercise is the only way to go -- esp for long-term results.

Thanks for the support, I have actually started today as I weighed myself this morning and am 10st 4lbs, ahhhhh! It keeps creeping up. I spent last night writing menus for myself and getting the calorie value of everything I buy. My sons first holy communion is in June and I would like to shed a few pounds before then (good excuse for a new frock!). Good luck everyone.
