Frustrated with myself today. Because I wasn't able to get on my eliptical this morning this whole day has been crappy. I have been so sleepy all day that there have been times when I struggle to keep my eyes open at work. I've been feeling so sluggish today. I've been snacking on things all day just to give myself something to do to stay awake. I tried drinking a lo-carb Monster and that didn't even help. I know I need to get a workout in when I get home, but I just don't know if I'm going to have the energy to do it. I think I'm going to force myself to get on the eliptical for at least 20 minutes, if not I think I'll go walk the hill that is by my house, if I can get my daughter to sit in the stroller; guess we'll see.

Don't throw the day away because of one bad twist. Hopefully you'll have time tonight to get in the workout you want, but if not, there's always tomorrow. We didn't get to where we are by eating one bad meal or missing one day at the gym, nor are we going to change immediately. These struggles make us stronger, and we learn from each one. Hope you have a better day!

Amen, Love of Fit! I caught myself freaking out a few weeks ago because I missed ONE work out. This weekend I was away with my husband and I was mildly stressed over every deviation from my normal good eating habits. I had to keep reminding myself that this is for LIFE and LIFE is full of these events, etc. I understand, Kjacks. If working out first thing gives you energy and propels you into the rest of your day, then you feel "off" not doing it. Tomorrow is another day. Write off today's snacking and tomorrow will get you back in the swing of things.
