198 lbs this morning. Up one pound ....all is good because i am doing everything right so the fluctuations do not phase me. I am feeling off this morning .... ketosis off, if you know what I mean. No appetite ..... so I've only had bulletproof coffee so far. I need to have something so I will go for eggs in a minute. Right now I will simply rest because my back hurts. I did a long walk yesterday and OMG, no huffing, no puffing, no tiredness .... I was so surprised. It was almost effortless ... except for the odd twinge of my back. The 30 plus pounds lost have made a huge difference. :)

You're doing so great!!! I had to look up bullet proof coffee since I keep hearing about it; how do you make yours? Also: what's the general idea for coming out of ketosis? Do you then add carbs back to your diet after you've reached your goal weight? Would that cause an explosive weight gain?

Hey tulip, Rugrat and Sherrie, thanks for the support! Tulip, I make my bulletproof coffee with coconut oil only. I have made it with butter, coconut oil and cream in the past but the one I did today was coconut oil only. I am a huge fan of coconut oil as I believe it is a low carber's dream. My plans for maintenance is to slowly add 5 net carbs every 2 -3 weeks and see how my body responds to it. When I start seeing a huge gain it will allow me to reset my carb level. I don't expect a huge gain with this approach. I am still alive and plan to indulge within reason along the way towards my "end state".
