I bought a new scale so I had to change some of the weights. This scale says that I am 2 pounds heavier than the other scale did. It is probably more accurate than the other one. Oh well... I'm still on a trend downward. I thought I would have lost more weight by now. The first week it came off quickly, now it is slowing down considerably. Oh well, a loss is a loss. The exciting thing is that I lost two inches off of my abdomen and two inches off of my waist! I have been having some bowel issues so hopefully that resolves soon, and with it maybe I will see more of the weight loss on the scale. Until then I will keep chugging along with the fast metabolism diet. It's really not a bad diet, I could do this for a while. I knew going into it that my main annoyance would be not having any drinks on the weekends. I have cheated on that factor by a little bit. I hope that I will be in "onederland" very soon!
203.0 lb Lost so far: 12.0 lb.    Still to go: 63.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are down 9 pounds in two weeks. That is pretty amazing. Some of us struggle to take off a pound a week. It's normal to lose a lot the first week from water weight/bloat and then move on to a pound or two a week. You are doing great.

You are right, I guess I was expecting quicker late loss with this particular diet. But a loss is a loss and I am still happy that I'm on the right track and learning healthier behaviors.

My new scale did that to me too, I was so disappointed to start using the new scale weights, but I do feel they are more accurate. I didn't change weights to adjust them to new scale measurements, but I made a note in my journals that I did make the change. I did keep the old scale though because my husband still likes it (it switched from lbs to kg to st and you couldn't switch it back). The nice thing about both scales is I use the old one to weigh at night to predict what I will be in the AM... and then I actually log electronically through the new one in the am. You are doing great, keep working at it!
