Very frustrating. I have been under 20g of carbs every day and I'm up 3 lbs. since last Saturday. Maybe not enough fat? Maybe too much salt? I haven't recorded my food in a while so I guess I have to start doing that again and maybe someone can look at it and offer some advice. I eat a lot of bacon and sausage so maybe it's salt. I probably don't get enough water during the day because I drink coffee half the day and it seems that I'm always trying to catch up at night. The ketostix are showing small ketone levels. I just have to be patient I guess. Keeping my fingers crossed that I have a good weigh in tomorrow.

Usually an Atkins bar for breakfast but bacon, eggs and cheese on weekends. Usually a salad for lunch with chicken, bacon, egg, and cheese and broccoli. And usually sausage and cheese for dinner. And celery, cheese and almonds for snacks. I just started putting coconut oil in my coffee. Seems like I should be losing. I was initially but I'm really in a stall.

how often do you weigh yourself? Your diet is awesome. Don't weigh to often-once a week maybe. When you have so few carbs your body can't help but burn fat for energy so get active even a little bit.

Everyday Kimberly Diane. I know that's bad but I can't help it! The scale is right there every morning when I get up! And you're right. I really need to get up and get moving!

Hello, you diet sounds pretty spot on, but one thing I have noticed, everytime i eat atkin's bar's for a snack or meal, my weightloss slow's down. Cut the bar's out, just to see. Good Luck!!

get moving mind trick for ekinsley. walk out your front door as far as you can, then you have no choice but to walk back to get home. Ha HA 2)tell yourself you will just walk around the block, once you are out there and have reach that small goal congratulate yourself and you will feel so good-you will keep going. Must take my own advice and go walk before the busy day gets away from me. Have a great day all.

acento74, thanks for the comment about the bars. I think you are right. I put some in my car for times when I am without good snacks and have not felt as good. Trying to avoid fast food drive ins but the bars are not working. cleaning houses and running kids I am in and out of the car all day and can't afford to get hungry, I will go back to packing up real food protein snacks!!!!!

I'm having the same problem, and I eat the bars too... That's usually my midday snack with coffee. Maybe it's the coffee? I hope not, cause I can't function without it!!

Thanks all. I'm going to try to cut out the bars and jut keep them around for emergencies. And I'm switching from coffee with creamer and aspartame to tea with coconut oil (I fell in love with that this week). And I need to get up off my butt and get walking at least. I have a desk job and have a pretty sedentary life at home. The sun is shining so we're getting out of the house today! It's probably still cold but it just looks so much better without the clouds.

I have a bag of nuts in my car. for those Emergencies. I also get freeze dried strawberries and throw them in there. I found I do better with that Snack, a little higher in carbs, than the Atkins "3" carb bars. Good Luck!!! Oh and also, dont forget the Beef jerky!! that's great Emergency food!!!
