I signed up for the 30 day Shred challenge and have decided to take it very seriously... For the first time in years I really feel like I can achieve my health and fitness goals (and justify keeping all those old size 6 levis for the last 6 years!)... I've done the Level 1 Shred workout twice now and I definately sweat! and that's saying something since I work out at least one hour every day - and at least 2 hours several days a week (I'm determined to get my money's worth from my club... running, power yoga, pilates, kickboxing, zumba, weight training etc...) :-) I don't uually like to take measurements because it seems like I can never do a good job of measuring at exactly the same place on my body each time and I also never know if I'm putting the same amount of tension on the tape - I usually trust my clothes to tell me how I'm doing - but since this is a requirement for the challenge I'll give it a go... waist 29" gut (measured at the belly button) 31.5" hip 36" thigh 21" upper arm 13" (this is my least liked part of my body!!!) I'll do the official "measure in" on Sunday but since I've started "shredding" I figured I oughta baseline now... Anyone out there who has 20 minutes a day to spare should really consider this challenge - there is a link to the shred video on youtube posted so you can take a look and see if its for you...

Wow you are inspiring to me. I am 5' 6" and weigh 150, I started off at 160 and I though going to 140 would be good for me. But now I'm thinking about 130. My waist is 37" (at belly button), hips 40" and thighs 23". I forget my arm measurements, but my arms are the best part on my body and are small. I can't believe I let myself get to where I am. I'm definately going to check out the Shred Challenge. I want to shoot for a size 8!
