I'm doing well. I found a great site for agents that mostly take historical fiction on, so I will get a long list of them and start sending out query letters very soon to get an agent. Lately I have been just slightly more tired than usual, I may try to go for a walk as it isn't terribly cold out. More snow this morning, a few inches. I am going tomorrow or Thursday out of town shopping probably on the bus. It is nearly impossible for me to get a ride anywhere since my neighbor Marge and her son Ted moved to Pennsylvania. I am maybe going to do low carb again soon, at the very least I will eat low-carb pasta from now on since regular pasta is one of the less healthy foods unless one is marathon training...

Not too productive a day, I got a wicked migraine and almost threw up on the bus so it's off to bed early probably. The worst of it is over now. I doubt I will go anywhere tomorrow to recover from this. I hope to get on other people's journals in the next day or two, tomorrow is another day and I hope to have the time...

Hi Bren, I feel better and plan to stay up tonight and get a long list of agents off of the Internet. Hope you're doing well...

I was thinking that it would be ideal if you could talk personally to an agent and just try to be honest. A younger, sharp guy might be just the ticket. Not that I know anything about agents but, it's just a feeling. Of course, that might be difficult when you lack transportation but I'm just throwing it out there as an ideal that you might be able to arrange under the proper circumstances. That sounds like a terrible migraine but, at least you are feeling better. I hope that the thumb off the touchpad is solving the mystery of the missing text. :-) Take good care of yourself buddy!

The thumb off of the touchpad has helped me stop erasing things. Some writers don't do book tours, some do it a lot for many months a year. I hope to find a balance. As far as age goes it doesn't matter probably. Anyone who will accept my work now it's OK, but I may have to find a different agent after I finish the science fiction/fantasy books as some agents don't switch genres and few who do historical fiction do something so different on later. I have to send in some chapters to some agents and hope they like it, most just want a query letter before they'll read anything else. I hope by summer to have an agent, thanks for checking in info...
