I think my strategy worked. It's Fat Tuesday, Paczki day, and I'm in no rush to go out and get some. By getting it out of my system, a couple weeks in advance, getting them doesn't seem like such a big temptation. The bonus is; I don't have to interupt my return to low carb eating, and then have to start again. :-)

I agree. Great strategy. Mardi Gras must pose so many temptations! In my neck-of-the-woods it's Oktoberfest.
