Ready to hit uncharted waters.

On May 6, 2011, I hit 222.4, which was probably my lowest since before 2001, but I bounced up to 250 by years end. I was at 225 around Father's Day last year and bounced up to 250 by years end. I've lost 22.6 pounds so far this year. I don't remember when I was below 200. I want to say 94-95. I know I was once 260.

I feel great and I'm more hungry than ever. Not for food, but to hit each milestone. My co-workers have never seen me below 230 and I've been there for 8 years. Being that I work from home and might not see them but once or twice a year it will be fun to see their reaction.

Some of my friends might remember be being in decent shape, but a lot of my new ones are used to 240-260lb version of me. Many of them are on the same adventure and/or are very supportive of my endeavor.

My goal of 180 will entirely break the mold of my family. Although, I would be ultimately thrilled with sub-200, I will get close to 180. To be honest, I'm not sure if that is possible at this point.

I was 210 when I first dated my wife. I now have to lose less than I already have to hit that again. It will happen. I owe it to her.

My kids, 5 and 1, are seeing the incredibly shrinking man. I owe it to them.

My promise to them, my wife, family, and friends is that I will be there for them as long I can. I will break that mold and be every bit the father, husband, son, sibling, and friend I can possibly be and as long I possibly can. I owe it to them.
