Eat more protein throughout the day 1/2 gram for every pound of body weight. Eat three 400 calorie meals and 1-2 400 cal snacks spaced no more than 4 hours apart. That should get you through the day just fine.

PS: Try Hershey special dark chocolate with almonds - this is good fat, just have three squares once or twice a day

Don't beat yourself up! The worst thing you can do when you "slip up" is dwell on it and think your whole day is a wash because of a little candy bar. Just make sure you eat a well-balanced dinner tonight and do an extra 20 minute workout if you feel you need to. As for avoiding the shakes and sugar cravings, maybe try to spread your meals out more throughout the day. Eat small snacks in between breakfast and lunch, and then again between lunch and dinner. If you are craving sugar, eat fruit instead. Good luck!

Is 1900 calories a day acceptable amount to lose weight?
