breney's Journal, 28 January 2014

Last night i made the Weight Watchers Cabbage Soup. I had a cup of it today at lunch..yuck, yuck, yuck..(smile)But i am going to stick to it for a few days. I confess i am not good at all posting my food so i think it would be easy for me to just enter it in my journal. I did hit the scale this morning and i was down to 188lb. I must keep telling my self that it will take time and not to give up. I over slept today and didnt exercise and yesterday I didn't exercise either. Not very proud of myself.

If you don't like it, I wouldn't eat it. But you can add spices and put in the vegetables you enjoy. I don't think its bad and it is low calorie and chock full of vegetables, lol!

I wish the weight would come off faster too, but I know I have to be patient. It's not the end of the world to not exercise everyday. I try to every other day and nobodys perfect. Good luck !! Sounds like you're eating right and making progress.

Congrats on the weight loss. What seems to be working for me after lots of stuff not working is avoiding ALL wheat,(bread crackers, muffins, etc) and keeping anything with sugar (including high sugar fruit) to an absolute minimum, and since I can't live without cookies, I found some good gluten free ones (Pamela's) that taste awesome. Trying not to have my calories too low as I've heard that can trick your body into thinking it's starving & really slow down your metabolism. I've read thru the food diaries of a lot of people on here that have lost a lot of weight and so far they all ate high protein, high fat and low carbs so I'm giving that a shot. Just thought I'd share.
