I was very disappointed this morning to find out that I had not lost a single tenth of a pound since Tuesday. I haven't cheated and I have been more regular than ever with no outside help. Still, the scale didn't even budge from the 193.2 lbs it so happily displayed.
I came to work bummed, and my good friend Amanda (who lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks) reminded me that I may have lost weight, but I am going through that special time of the month and I should weigh myself afterwards. I feel as if I've lost weight. I don't feel like I'm straining against my clothes. They're still snug, but not ready to bust at the seams. I really just thought that weight gain during your period was caused by giving into hormonal cravings for food.
So, I am looking forward to seeing what I weigh on Monday. I'm hoping to see the 3 lbs I was expecting today plus some extra since I can be more active on the weekends than during the week.
