I'm doing well. I've cut back my calories to between 1600 to 1800 calories a day. I may be forced to do low carb again because my cholesterol is extremely high and nothing has worked but cutting out sugar and foods with high carbs. The weather is cold. I may move in the next few months, either in my town or to one fifty miles to the west in the mountains. My cousin Cindy would visit me probably more than the rest of my relatives do now, which is never. The book editing is going well. I am forcing myself to eat less and it is difficult, and I also have not been getting enough walks in because it is too cold, maybe a walk tonight will do. My typing is maybe ten words or more faster than it was a year ago, which I am glad about. Have a great end of the week everyone, and if you're employed be grateful, so many people I know are not...
Vocabulary word for Wednesday: anabatic - ADJECTIVE - METEOROLOGY - (of a wind) caused by local motion of warm air; rising.

Hi Glenn and am glad to see you are holding your own with your calorie intake. You are so right about the employment... I have a job but do I? My employer of 14 years is behind in payments to me for 8 weeks..(sigh)..I am living on a wing and a prayer...Hopefully the job situation will improve soon or I'll be singing for my supper and we don't want that lol. Yes Lisa - CNN newspage said something like - the other day - do you believe the global economic recovery will gain pace. Hello? There is NO recovery in this country, many states are going to have to cut jobs and/or pensions to make ends meet. There are hardly any jobs outside the medical and service sector, or education. Our country can't run its total economy on taking care of old people and spending money on the military, it won't work. Thankfully, our country is blessed in that it can feed itself with America's Breadbasket located here, and a large number of farms still. The bad thing is wealthy people once created jobs, now most invest in a market where the dollar is/will lose its value if things keep going the way they are. Of everyone I know working, many have lost their jobs or had job benefits like health care cut dramatically, or they're in danger of losing their jobs in the year ahead. I believe (and I'm an optimist) that there will be more tough times ahead as the U.S. government tries to get a hold on the debt... Lisa, I hope you get paid before you get your pink slip, my younger sister got laid off again on Monday. All of my cousins on both sides have shaky jobs - or they don't work, my twin sister is probably the most secure out of all her siblings and cousins as a daycare provider. Be well everyone! I ate some sweets at a gathering tonight and won't do it next time as it was probably easily 1000 extra calories I didn't need! :)

I am fortunant right now to have a working husband but my income was always for basic bills and extra's...Yep, it is a different world now. Those darn sweets are so hard to resist, I know that for sure as my daily intake was mainly that lol. Talk with you later Glen, Towanda!!!!

I went to a gathering and had oatmeal/cranberry cookies and pineapple upside down cake - that thankfully didn't have the sweet thick pineapple on the bottom, but I had two pieces. It's time to have warm weather so I can go for a walk. I went to bed at 10 p.m and woke up at 12:30 a.m. like I slept all night and did great getting lots of the book edited. Things are going well on that front. I hope I'm not up all night, the weekends I work nights and it just throws everything off being on psych meds! I need a wife with a decent income to get out of poverty, but I can't even drive so it's unlikely I'll have a girlfriend until I get published...
