"At that rate it will take you about 6 months to get to your goal weight."

I just booked a trip with a friend to Ireland and England for August, so 6 months is exactly in line with my plan! Also, the dietbet that I'm participating in lasts 6 months, so if I win it, I'll have a good chunk of spending money to take with me on the trip!

Major motivation here.

Also today will be the first time in a month I've gone to my gym (I went to the gym over the holidays but not here in PA). I kept using the excuse "I don't know where my gym bag is, or where my sneakers are, or I want to get home in time to see my husband before he goes to work at night, or I'm doing yoga at home that counts as a workout for the day".... All excuses, and all overcome. Time to get back into the habit of going ~3 times per week like I did in 2013!

OK going to the gym was a brilliant idea... I don't know why I stopped. Did about 25 minutes on the elliptical, got that endorphin rush that had me smiling ear to ear (must have looked like a goofball smiling while sweating profusely!), and then threw in another 20 minutes of weight training. I took the easy route and only did the weight machines I actually like, so the ab twister, ab cruncher, and inner/outer thigh machines. Still, great workout and glad I went :)
